Academic Performance

The average grade point for each entering class has consistently been 3.5 to 3.7, with greatest emphasis placed on the science GPA.

(Most schools use a weighted GPA out of 4.0, though some report an unweighted GPA. With a GPA of 3.8, Michigan State requires you to be near the top of your class, and well above average.
